OWNER, LEAD PLANNER + DESIGNER
My love for weddings and events began from an early age! My mom was always planning birthday parties, showers and other small events for family and friends so I naturally took an interest. My wedding planning journey began almost ten years ago when one of my bridesmaid/best friends (Cara) helped me plan my own wedding. The day after our wedding I realized how sad I was that it was over and was not ready to be done. A few months later I transitioned into wedding planning full time. I have been so blessed to have some of the greatest mentors, Michelle Garibay being one of them!
In 2020, Cara and I started Everly by MGE, the sister brand to Michelle Garibay Events. Running a business with my best friend has been one of the most humbling and rewarding jobs I have and will ever have. We learn so much from each other and quite literally finish each other's sentences. I couldn't imagine building this business and team with anyone else!
The wedding industry is constantly changing and as a designer, it is SO important to keep up with the current trends. So much of my inspiration for designs comes from a quick trip to Pottery Barn, scrolling through West Elm online and my personal favorite...those post networking meetings "after parties"! So much greatness has come from collaborating with other wedding pros which is why I strongly believe in the importance of community over competition.
Outside of the wedding world, I am the wife to my sweet husband and mother to our three young kiddos. You can usually find us at the baseball field, at the lake, or hanging out with our family and friends. When Mama gets a girls night out, you can usually find me at our local Mexican restaurant enjoying some chips and guac and a margarita on the rocks!
