OWNER, LEAD PLANNER + DESIGNER

I began my journey with weddings close to 12 years ago by being asked by a friend to coordinate their wedding. From there, I fell in love with weddings and eventually was promoted as a wedding manager at a local winery. I eventually branched off to do wedding planning full time. Soon after, Alex and I created Everly. Running a business with my best friend (who is more like a sister) has been nothing short of amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better partner, and it has been the best ride building our business and team together. 

While it isn't always glitz and glam, the wedding industry is filled with so much excitement, LOVE, and the very best wedding pros. The trust my clients and I build is something I treasure and makes my job SO fulfilling! I am a huge fan of home design, and one of my favorite things to do is browse catalogs and magazines looking for new inspiration that can be incorporated into weddings. 

I am so lucky to have an opportunity to work bi-coastally (TN to CA). Both states have such a different, yet beautiful charm. I often pinch myself that we have grown our business to be able to have an established team in both gorgeous locations.

In my off time, my dedication and heart belong to my sweet husband and 3 precious kiddos. We all enjoy watching baseball, snowboarding, and in the summer you can find us all by the water. They truly are the most supportive bunch, and I couldn't be more blessed to be their mama.

  • Cara made our wedding absolutely wonderful. We hired her for our wedding day management. Even though I thought we had everything worked out, there were so many times in the year of planning that I sought out Cara's expertise. She was ALWAYS there to answer my questions via email or text and always made time to have phone calls with me leading up to the wedding. She is truly an expert and made our day seamless. Most people have hiccups and problems on the wedding day, and maybe there were some I didn't know about, but Cara handled our day an executed it perfectly. Our venue was beyond beautiful and everything was exactly how we wanted it, thanks to her! We are so appreciative of the effort and work put in by Cara and her team to make sure our day was amazing.

  • Cara made our wedding flawless! We had a 6 month engagement and planning your dream wedding in 6 months for 180 guests is no easy task! Cara made sure we remembered every detail and was always available to answer any questions. In the final weeks leading up to the wedding Cara took over communication with all of our vendors and made sure everyone was aware of our wedding timeline and what time they needed to arrive. When wedding day came, we were all able to relax, enjoy, and take in every minute. Everyone warned us before our wedding to expect something to go wrong (as things normally do), but nothing went wrong thanks to Cara! I also supplied all of my own candles and personal decor, which Cara was able to take the night before the wedding and decorate exactly how I had envisioned. Our wedding was truly our perfect day, and we are forever grateful to Cara
